Library Mission
The Coronado Village Elementary library endeavors to give students, teachers, and staff access to excellent resources and programs in a way that is flexible, organized and supportive of the school’s curriculum, so that together we can learn to use, contribute to, and thrive in an information-literate society. The library media center seeks to promote a love of reading, develop information-literate students, create lifelong learners, and help teachers teach.

Mrs. Sara Wilkinson
I was born in Irving, Texas then moved to San Antonio to attend Trinity University where I received my Bachelor’s of Art in Psychology and Master’s in the Art of Teaching. I taught 4th grade, 2nd grade, and 3rd grade at Coronado Village for 7 years. I stayed home with my young children until they were all school age. I have been substitute teaching in New Bruanfels ISD while receiving my School Library Certificate from University of North Texas, Denton. My love of learning, reading, and travel is something I enjoy doing with my family. I have been married for 19 years and have 3 children.
My love of reading and educating is what brought me to becoming a librarian. I am excited to help students build a lifelong appreciation of reading and creating a library environment that supports our Toros in their quest for knowledge. I am looking forward to sharing in the learning community that CVE fosters. I am thrilled to be back at Coronado Village. It feels like returning home.
